Dr. Phaedra Henley (PhD, MSc) is an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Center for One Health at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) in Rwanda. Here, she oversees the development of its One Health research program, curriculum and community engagement.

The mission of Center for One Health at UGHE is is to advance both awareness and adoption of the One Health approach through collaborative research and by training tomorrow’s health leaders to champion One Health principles in designing and delivering innovative, equitable and evidence-based solutions to global challenges.

Dr. Henley has a PhD in Pathology, a Master in Environment and Sustainability, and a BMSc in Medical Sciences, all from Western University.
