Kim Laura Weiszhar works as a Scientist and International Project Manager at the Center for Global Health (CGH) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in Germany, with a focus on One Health and Global Health.
Since the launch of the network in November 2022, she holds the role of the German Community Manager of the Women for One Health (WfOH) Network.
Within the network, she focuses on topics such as equity in One Health and gender research. At the Center, her main research topics currently include, among others, One Health surveillance and event detection involving AI in Global Health research.
As the German Project Coordinator of the German-African research network CYSTINET-Africa, with partners from Sub-Saharan Africa, she has gained extensive experience in International Project Management. Before joining the CGH, she worked on a One Health project for the European Commission and conducted research on antibiotic-resistant bacteria. Kim holds a master’s degree in Epidemiology and Public Health.
